The paintings illustrated here include many landscape scenes from home and abroad. I am particularly interested in the urban landscape as well as ‘natural’ scenes. My inspiration for painting is to create an impression of the natural world as it appears to me.
I like to work in several mediums including watercolour, acrylics and pastels as well as pen and wash and there are galleries devoted to each medium. I have included some extracts from my sketchbooks which illustrate the basis of my paintings.
